Perspective tulip fields

Fifth grade students learned how to show distance in a work of art by creating a perspective drawing. They looked at examples of real tulip fields in the Netherlands to get some ideas.  Students used a horizon line and vanishing point in their one-point perspective drawings to create these beautiful tulip fields.

I found the idea for this lesson on a fellow art teachers blog:  My Adventures in Positive Space
