Native American Teepees

Kindergarten stduents learned about the Native Americans and teepee houses in this project.

Every year, the Kindergarten team hosts a "Thanksgiving Feast" just before Thanksgiving break.  Parents, students and teachers gathered in the cafeteria this year to celebrate!  The Kindergarten teachers asked me to create a few art projects to help with the decorations.  Below are some teepee's that Kindergarten students made!

Native American Teepees was a 2 day project.  On the first day, students painted the sky, mountains and ground for a background paper.  On the second day, students created teepees out of manilla paper, markers, black construction paper and popsicle sticks.  Check out their beautiful creations below! Enjoy!
